Restaurant review

Good evening!

I visited a cafe last week which I would like to evaluate. The cafe restaurant I visited is “珈琲西武(Coffee Seibu)” which is in Tokyo near Shinjukusanchoume station(新宿三丁目駅). If you are thinking of having a place to relax and stay for a long time in Shinjuku, “Coffee Seibu” is a suitable place.

First, I would like to tell you when I went and what I ordered there. I went to “Coffee Seibu” with my friend on January 5th, Wednesday for lunch. We went to the cafe at about 12:00 and stayed until about 15:40. I had a lunch set at first and I had a cake set at about 15:00. The lunch set contains a salad, drink, and a dish from the food menu. I ordered omelet rice. The cake set was set of a drink and a cake. We could choose what cake we wanted to eat. I had Mont Blanc. Both of them tasted nice! Especially the omelet rice was very warm and it made me full. The demi-glace sauce around the omelet was delicious and I could enjoy eating the omelet rice by itself or with the sauce. I ordered tea for a drink and it was hot as well. The food came quickly as well. The salad came first and while we were eating salad, the omelet rice came and it felt like we weren’t waiting for a long time.

The menu had varieties of foods! There were all kinds of foods such as parfait, cakes, spaghetti, sandwiches, and curry. There are also a variety of drinks, however, the drinks looked a little expensive compared to the foods. I think the price of the food is appropriate and it is not cheap and not too expensive.

I would like to talk furthermore about the atmosphere and the service. I thought the atmosphere was a very relaxing place. Even though the cafe was busy because many people came, each table was separated so we could enjoy our own space. Also, the design of the cafe was very unique. There were red sofas and I was surprised by the small-sized table. Although the table was small, the plates fit and I thought it was very stylish. Also, the ceiling looked beautiful which was stained glass windows. The service was good value I think. The waitresses served us water for free and when we drank up the water they gave us a new cup of water with ice in it. Another wonderful service was that the cafe had free wi-fi and consent near our table. We didn’t use that much but I thought it was very convenient having them. There was one point I was concerned about. The toilet was not perfectly clean so if they improve the cleanness I thought it would be better.

In conclusion, I would really like to recommend this place and the good point is that it is near to Shinjuku station and Shinjukusanchoume station. I wish there was a website for this cafe, but I couldn't find it. I only could find people reviewing and taking pictures of the cafe. However, since this cafe has free wi-fi and consent, I thought the price was appropriate and it was worth paying because the food was good and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

  1. Hi Yuna!
That omelet rice looks delicious! I searched the cafe and there was this dessert called “Pudding a la mode” and since I love sweets, I would love to try the omelet rice & this dessert!
